This is an opportunity to learn and explore the many benefits of this practice of relaxation, reflection and revitalization. The practice of Yoga Nidra activates the Vagus Verve which controls the relaxation response and has a calming effect on your body and mind.
It is said that in this “state of consciousness – between waking and sleeping” we set an intention and focus on making our heartfelt desires come true. The practice of yoga nidra has many physical and mental benefits such as reducing stress response, reducing fatigue and decreasing muscle tension (to name a few).
In this workshop we will:
Learn what Yoga Nidra is and it’s benefits
Understand the connection of the Koshas -the 5 layers of our energetic being
Connection of yoga nidra to the nervous system and the benefits of soothing our nervous system
Set a Sankalpa – an intention that can bring positive change into your life – ignite the divine light in your heart
Experience a Yoga Nidra Practice to explore a pathway of connecting your heart (intention), mind and body Reflect on the practice and share experience
